We have undertaken the redevelopment and enlargement of our facilities for wider community and church use.

For 130 years, All Saints’ has been a significant venue for community activities.

• Each month, in addition to regular worshippers, 1200 people from the community use the church buildings.
• The church complex is used by a variety of interest groups, for live performances and for youth activities.
• We want to maintain and grow our service to the Taradale community by upgrading for the 21^st century.

The new facilities  were opened by the Mayor, Barbara Arnott on 29 August 2009. They include:

• The Octagon: a new Children and Family Centre
• Dedicated youth room and carpeted lounge
• Upgraded and enlarged hall
• Commercial kitchen and upgraded amenities block
• All areas are disability friendly
• Multi function staging, sound system and audio visual links

The total project cost is 1.7 million; of this we have raised $1,507,000 (from May 2006 ‘til September 2009) through numerous fundraising activities and the generosity of donations and bequests.

We need help from the wider community to help meet this deficit.
